New Collaboration (July 19th)

I am excited to invite you to the upcoming launch of a new collaboration between Root Change and the Community Independence Initiative (CII) on Thursday, July 30 at 11 am EDT

CII is bringing the original version of FII, the project I started in 2001, to the world. A true bottom-up effort, it first finds what families facing poverty are already doing to improve life and then supports it through validation, social connections as well as driving investments to the best efforts.  It is a peer-driven change model where families lead the change as the only experts of their own lives. We are part of a movement that is developing globally, so please join us in that journey. 

CII is currently being piloted in four countries--Liberia, Mexico, Colombia, and the Philippines. Learn more in our recent announcement here.
